This is roughly in line with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's estimate that Apple sold between 160,000 to 180,000 units in the first two days. Kuo originally expected Apple to have between 60,000 to 80,000 units in stock for launch day. With shipping times moving to March shortly after pre-orders open, and not all stock available in the Apple Store, the Vision Pro has essentially sold out, and officially becomes available for purchase on February 2, but it may be impossible to get it on that date.
The price of the Vision Pro starts at $3,499, and the price exceeds $4,000 with add-ons, and it is currently only available in the United States, although Kuo recently predicted that Apple will make the headset available internationally before the Worldwide Developers Conference in June of this year, and there is also Reports say that Apple is already working on next-generation versions of the Vision Pro that should be much less expensive.
