With the latest update, the game developers addressed a data mismatch issue that caused an error message and some customization resets, and after installing the update, players should no longer encounter the error message and face customization resets.

The update also adds three new weapons – the RAM-7 (Assault Rifle), XRK Stalker (Sniper Rifle) and Stormender (Launcher) – as well as new aftermarket parts to the game.

In addition, the daily challenge "Get 3 Operator Kills Without Dying Four Times" is now tracked correctly after the update, and this update also added three new maps, as well as three new game modes - Gunfight, Hardcore, and All or Nothing - to the game. Apart from this, the update brings several other changes to MW3.

Warzone's Season 1 update also fixes the mismatch issue and adds new weapons and attachments. This update also adds new vehicles and public events but removes an item of ground loot. Additionally, the update also fixes several bugs in Warzone.
