The first expansion for Diablo 4 , titled Vessel of Hatred, was revealed during the Blizzcon event, and is expected to arrive at the end of 2024.
According to Engadget, Vessel of Hatred brings players back to learn about the fate of the evil master Mephisto and his diabolical plans for the Sanctuary, where he will go to the lush jungle known to the locals as Nhanto.
Players will return to the Torajan forests, and it has also been confirmed that Mephisto, one of the first three villains, will be at the forefront again. It has also been confirmed that the expansion will bring with it a new class, and Blizzard has said that it will be completely different from any other class we have seen previously. The expansion will be released in 2024 on Xbox One, Series X/S, PlayStation 4/5 and desktop consoles.
