A new update to the WhatsApp application allows sending HD images in the highest quality

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, announced that the  WhatsApp application has received a new update that allows users to share images in HD quality and resolution.

Zuckerberg's announcement came via his Instagram broadcast channel and via a Facebook post.

This feature was available in beta for select users, as it allowed users to maintain the high resolution of the photos they shared with friends and family.

To access the new feature, the app must first be updated to the latest version.

Then open a conversation and choose someone to send a photo to, so that the user notices the presence of a new high-resolution button at the top of the photo sharing screen, next to other photo editing tools.
